BraWL Blind Draw: a random team, a real shot at winning
The simplest tournament pool there is
A blind draw is a tournament pool with no picking. Everyone in the room claims a numbered spot. When the draw runs, every spot is dealt a random team from the tournament field. If your team wins the whole tournament, you win the pool. The more spots a room has, the more teams there are to root for, and every game matters to somebody.
How a BraWL blind draw works
- Create a room. Choose a tournament and share the room code or invite link with your friends, family or coworkers.
- Claim your spot. Spots close at a lock time the room manager sets, and the draw can be set to run by itself.
- Get a random team. The draw deals the teams out at random. Nobody can choose, so nobody can complain.
- Root all tournament. The standings show who still has the most teams alive, then who has gone furthest.
Tournaments you can run
March Madness, the NFL playoffs, the College Football Playoff, the NBA, NHL and MLB playoffs, MLS Cup playoffs and the FIFA World Cup. It suits any big tournament where a full bracket feels like too much work.
Free to start
A room with 16 spots is free. Larger draws of 32 and 64 spots are available as one-time upgrades. Blind draw is one of the six BraWL formats, alongside brackets, squares, pick'ems, survivor and fight cards.
